Great Friends

Happy Birthday to Sara Bennett :) Yeah! we got a chance to get away from work and spend some time with our friends, Eric and Sara. She turned 21 and we had some cake and ice cream that Eric made. She also got a gun (Micah would know more about that), and also got an upgrade on a car, a Honda Accord! Lucky girl!!

After the Bennett's we had a fun time at the Oates family! Halee was sleeping, so we sadly didn't get to see her, but Joe and Ellen were up and were so fun to talk to! We caught up on a lot of things, and we just think they are such a blast to hang out with :)

So thank to our great friends the Bennetts and the Oates for a fun night!

Easter

I love Easter! Sadly Micah had to work that morning/afternoon, so it was up to me and my little brother Ryan (AKA: Poo-bear) to hide the Easter eggs from the cousins. We were excited to hide some them...until we found out that the lil' cousins got 32 eggs each!!! Ridiculous, that's what me and ryan thought. So we decided to hide them in more creative places (after all since 3 of the 4 were under the age of 4 the parents were really going to be looking).

The Shanking of Stumpy...

Poor, poor, poor, poor, Stumpy. The cute lil' guy was getting his haircut by "daddy", and since Stumpy is so hairy we have to cut him down with the scissors, and then use the clippers. So Micah had the scissors in hand and went to cut....Stumpy jumped!!! and the scissors got him!!! This is when I walked in from school, and Micah comes in with Stumpy in his arms saying "Babe, I think we've got a problem." Then showing me Stumpy's back right leg, there was a dime-sized hole!!

So after we called the Vet to make sure that we didn't need to take him in for stitches, we cleaned and got the gauze and tape out...this is the result:

He's doing great, and seems like himself so we'll monitor the owie!

Arizona Trip

Me and micah had one crazy adventure last week: a sudden trip to Tuba City, Arizona. We are sad to say that my mom is no longer living in the Valley, we miss her so much! But we know she is in great hands with her Navajo family that she will get to know. Here's some random pics of the quick trip:

We never got a picture of when Micah and me got a flat tire (on the 5th wheel trailer), then we got stuck in the sand right after!!! It was horrible :( We were 20 miles outside Paige, Arizona and then we heard the pop, and the thud. We quickly pulled over to the side of the road, apparently they only have gravel about 4 feet from the road, and then soft, soft, sand. So we of course pulled onto the sand part, to get level, and that didn't work....2 hours later, $149 bill for towing (it was going to be $265, where did they come up with that?!), tired and still had to go 2 1/2 hours.

We arrived safe at last, and Micah got to meet the Navajo side!

Micah learned how to make some frybread, our cousins were so fast at making them! Micah's were awesome, I gave him a B+ for his first time! Yum We sadly left on Friday, there was a crazy sandstorm that blew in!! it was everywhere, our hair, ears, eyes!

Then we got into the canyon and it was a crazy snowstorm!!!!

We got a chance to stop by Cedar City to visit Micah's trooper of a Grandpa who's recovering well from his knee surgery. His mama was staying there helping out, so bonus, we got to see her and Dave too! Here's her fashionable boots...ha ha

And last, but not least, we have a new addition to our household: drum roll please....My sister Ashley! She's currently going to Maximum Style Tech. and hopefully will start Full time school so that she can get it done and out of the way. Welcome to our home Ash!

Boo Mother Nature!!!!

Okay...seriously?!?! What in the world is up with all this snow?!?! I know it's April Fools Day, but this is one of those cruel pranks.

I got up early to study for a test that I had at 8:30 this morning, and surprise, surprise, there's 3 inches of snow on the jeep!! I then frantically tried to look for the snow brush and I couldn't find it!!! So I had to use my arms. So instead of having 1.5 hours of studying, I got 1 hour of studying in.

I'm sure that Micah will be mad at me for not waking him up and to clear off all the snow, but he needs his sleep, and it's not like I was late for the test. After the test was over I had an hour break until my next class and I made the mistake of looking at the weather forecast...the snow's not over yet. So this is to you Mother Nature...BOO!!!
