It's been forever!

So sorry about the long wait! We just got so busy, and then I have just been in this "blah" mood lately!
But enough about me, more about Micah!!! Micah got a job offer from Auto-Owners Insurance agency! It was such an exciting day, I was on the phone outside, and I come in to find Micah dancing around excitedly (of course speaking very professional) and just giving me his cheesiest smile with the thumbs up sign!
So Micah will start training June 13 in Mesa, AZ. I will sadly be staying here to do some school :(
But that's the way things have got to be!

Love for the DI...

I started my class today and was hating life when I found out that a used textbook for the class was atleast $98. So I was at the craft store and decided that I would swing by the Deseret Industries to see if they had any flowers that didn't cost an arm and a leg.
So I started to browse around the store and I went to see if they had any baby items for Ashley, and I found a Fisher Price sounds and lights monitor for $2, and everything works!!!
Then I was in the book aisle, and I found a pregnancy book for $1, and then I looked down (the heavens opened up, and angels started to sing) my economics book that I was looking for was RIGHT THERE!! for...wait for it....ONE DOLLAR!!!!

We are so excited that Micah got to go to Sadie Hawkins this year...

He had a really fun time with his cute date Ryan Jensen.

Who picked out matching sweaters. This really brings out the eyes. Ok really what happened: Ryan purchased his sweater from Banana Republic for our wedding in 2007, purchase price: more than Kenny wants to know.

I (Tawni) was walking around the outlets in Park City and stopped in Van Heusen to see what they had on sale, I saw this sweater and really liked it..

I was excited to show Ryan what I had got Micah, and as I pulled it out Ryan just looked at me like I was a moron for not noticing that he had the same sweatshirt.

Now Ryan and Micah enjoy long walks on Hyrum Dam beach, and spending a rainy day inside their reading nook. Nothing beats New England style clam chowder, and a new romance novel to read by the fire.

Graduation 2009!!!

Great job to my hard working hubby! I love him so much and watching him walk was such a great experience! Thanks to the Sr. Platts for coming up and spending some time with us, and thanks to my dad and brothers for coming too! Here's Micah reporting the days events:

In typical Logan fashion we had a beautiful weather day for my commencement ceremony. Fortunately we had a ton of umbrellas and we could jump from cover to cover. I'm so stoked its great to be an AGGIE ALUMNI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Fabulous Meal @ Le Nonnes Gotta Love Italian food!!!
